Cleanliness Drive at New Lake, Sector 42
Don Bosco Navjeevan Society will join hands with the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh and Onkar Charitable Foundation to organize a large-scale cleanliness drive as part of the Swachh Yuva Doot – A Brigade for Cleanliness campaign.The drive will take place at New Lake, Sector 42, and will witness active participation from over 100 students, staff members, and the “Sunshine” Child Parliament. The event will feature a plogging activity, combining fitness with environmental care, encouraging participants to collect litter while jogging.The campaign aims to instill a strong sense of environmental responsibility among the youth, fostering civic engagement and healthy habits.Smt. Harpreet Kaur Babla, Hon’ble Mayor of Chandigarh, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, alongside Sh. Amit Kumar (IAS), Commissioner, and Sh. Jasbir Singh, Sr. Deputy Mayor.The campaign will continue until August 14, 2025, with various awareness activities planned across the city. Don Bosco Navjeevan Society remains committed to promoting youth-led civic action, reflecting a strong community spirit and a shared commitment to a cleaner, greener Chandigarh.

Training of Caring Communities on the Rights of Children
On 27.4.2021, the team CFCI conducted training for the members of the caring community of Maloya Ward No. 7, Chandigarh. The functioning of CCGs, caring communities and safety net was explained to the members. How the violation of the rights of children can be prevented in Maloya, Ward no. 7 was discussed in details.

Many thanks to #smilefoundationindia for sponsoring football and cricket kits to Don Bosco Navjeevan Society remedial children from Faidan Nizampur village, Ward no. 23, Chandigarh. It is worth mentioning here that Don Bosco Navajeevan Society is providing football and cricket training to the children of its remedial classes who are from Faidan village of Chandigarh.
